Lafayette native, JIMMY followed in his late uncles footsteps in the firm. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University in 1986. He is admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Louisiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Council for the Development of French in Louisiana, the American Association for Justice and the Lafayette Parish Bar Association, where he sat on the Board of Directors. He has also served on the Board of Governors of the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association Board of Directors.
