Established in 1957 by James Domengeaux and Bob Wright, Domengeaux Wright Roy & Edwards, L.L.C. has developed into one of Louisiana's leading personal injury law firms. However the roots of our firm were planted in the depression years of the 1930's when James Domengeaux began practicing law. He later served as in the state legislature and the U.S. House of Representatives, which he resigned in 1944 to enlist in the U.S. Army, only to regain his house seat upon completion of his service. James Domengeaux also founded the internationally recognized Counsel for the Development of French in Louisiana (CODOFIL).
